A: Virtuous Reality seeks to partner with our Host Facilities (churches) to reaching communities, cities, and states with the message of virtue. If you would like to learn more about hosting requirements email marketing@virtuousreality.com with “hosting” in the subject line.
Q: Where did you come up with the name “Yada Yada”?
A: I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
Months after naming the event, “Yada Yada” and choosing Psalm 139:14 as the theme verse, it was discovered that the Hebrew words for “praise” and “know” in the verse are “yadah” and “yada.” Yada Yada, no doubt, is more than just talk!
Q: What can I expect at a Yada Yada event?
A: Yada Yada is a unique event just for 7th-12th grade girls and moms. The conference includes high energy main sessions with engaging keynote speakers and genuine worship. Yada Yada also offers four breakout sessions with a variety of relevant topics for girls and moms. All teaching is biblically based and focuses on four attributes of virtue: moral excellence, strength, purity and worth. If you would like additional information about a specific event, or if you would like to register, click here.
Q: What can I expect at a between event?
A: between is a 1-day conference designed for 2nd thru 6th grade girls and moms. You’ll experience high-energy main session featuring engaging keynote speakers and upbeat worship. You’ll also attend three breakout sessions that cover relevant topics affecting tween girls. Breakout sessions are divided into a 2nd/3rd/4th grade track and 5th/6th grade track, and moms attend all sessions with their daughters. All teaching is biblically based and focuses on four attributes of virtue: moral excellence, strength, purity and worth. If you would like additional information about a specific event, or if you would like to register, click here.
Q: Do I sign up for my breakout sessions prior to the event?
A: No, you will be given a program when you arrive at the event that will list all breakout sessions offered along with descriptions for you to choose from.
Q: Can I bring my 6th grade girls to Yada Yada?
A: We understand that many youth groups now include 6th grade girls and that many middle schools across the U.S. incorporate 6th-8th grades. However, it has been our decision to always err on the side of caution when it comes to including 6th grade girls in our older event in an effort to preserve innocence. At Yada Yada, more mature subject matter may be discussed, including but not limited to; eating disorders, relationships with boys, and sex. We leave this decision in the hands of the parents, where it ultimately belongs.
Q: I have a 3rd grade daughter and a 5th grade daughter. I want to be with both my daughters at between, how do I choose which track to attend?
A: We suggest that you take both of your daughters to the 3rd/4th grade track. However, at some events we do offer workshops applicable to all ages in the main sanctuary.
Q: Does Vicki Courtney speak at all of your events?
A: No. Vicki speaks at some of the Virtuous Reality events, but cannot speak at every one due to family, writing, and other speaking commitments.
